I've started seeing benefits from adult courses on digital tools/platforms from PCL and there need to be more of them! #MoreHoursforPCL would mean more opportunities for me and other Providence residents.

I love being able to access the library but the limited hours make it difficult because it’s often closed when I get home from work. I would love extended hours so I can access the facilities. Thanks!

The Olneyville Branch provided me with learning opportunities and my first job as library aide at age 14. Its programs enriched my life. Libraries make us all feel rich!

We need public libraries now more than ever, for all the reasons stated above. They are the bedrock of our community!

More open hours! I can’t get there before 5:30 :-( and please open on Saturdays!

A vibrant city NEEDS library services that support its residents with hours of operation that provide maximum access. Expanded weekend hours are especially important -- its when people are not at work and can relax with some library time and when students require quiet places for study. Lively, ACCESSIBLE libraries are critical to healthy communities. Please provide more financial help to our libraries so they can provide more open hours for us all! I returned a book yesterday (Saturday) at 1:00pm and was saddened to find doors locked -- ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON! The is total underutilization of an important city asset -- very short-sighted!

As someone who works full time, often times the only time I can make it to the library is on Saturday’s. To have the option to go late night or Sunday’s would be amazing.

Having more evening hours would be wonderful to give more community members access to libraries after work. Thank you.

Providence Community Library could serve so many more people if all of the libraries were open consistent hours: mornings to evenings plus Saturdays (and Sundays in the larger libraries).

I love the library and wish I could be there more! Evening hours, extended hours in general, would make such a difference as there have been many days I needed to go but unfortunately couldn’t because of the library’s hours in relation to my work schedule.

Please consider funding more PCL library hours! The libraries are safe havens of calm and caring and learning for all of us in an increasingly dark and chaotic world.

My library isn't open on Saturdays, when I have the time to visit it.

Libraries provide critical resources to all residents who need books, access to computers, supplies for making new things, repairing older ones, coming together with neighbors, learning and reading. Please support PCL and enable the branches to offer more hours and more access to all of us.

More people visited libraries in 2019 than went to movie
theaters and live sporting events put together! There is no better way to help the people of Providence than by supporting and funding Providence Community Library.
