Girls should be able to wear shorts without the fingertip length rule. Its stupid. Its not like its going to be super short to the point where you can see our bottoms

I honestly believe that dress code is too much of a big deal for us girls. we go to school to learn, & think about our futures. as teenagers we are expected to do everything right before we get into high school , so why is it that we are so worried about the length of our dresses , our shorts , the rips in our jeans , the straps on my shirt , are they two fingers wide? we are old enough to comprehend what appropriate & inappropriate is & yes I understand there are certain limits to like where your butt is hanging out of your shorts is wrong but that's not as to what we want dress code to be. we want to be able to express ourselves through the only thing we have left , clothes. & I also believe crop tops aren't such a big deal , if a girl is confident in her body then don't take that ounce of confidence she has left. we are constantly being degraded at school. body shaming , slut shaming , & bullying. dress code shouldn't be one of our problems , we have many other things on our minds & I shouldn't have to measure the length of my skirt / dress / shorts or see if I have a rip in my jeans because it's a distracting environment for MEN. boys at this age know how to control themselves, there's no need to take it to another level because a boy sees a girl's shoulder he's automatically turned on. every girl deserves the right to feel good in their bodies. dress code takes that away.

I hate dress code especially with this hot weather. I find it insulting that guys can wear a tank top and I can't because you see my shoulders.

I believe that dress code in Mayfair is too strict. Just because a girls skin is showing and its distracting the boys or other kids doesn't make it her fault. The kids who got distracted had the choice to allow it or not.

I feel we should be allowed to wear shorts (of course to a certain length because we are still in a class environment) I believe we should also wear ripped jeans (of course to a certain degree) Bra straps should be allowed (I honesty don't see how their considered inerpropriate) Thin strapped tanks should also be allowed because well what's so inerpropriate about a shirt with just thinner straps?

I understand that we have to have finger tip length dresses, shorts and skirts so that we don't expose anything but then I don't see why we can't have holes in our jeans that are under our finger tips because of the holes are "exposing" anything it wouldn't be any different than wearing a school appropriate dress, skirt, or shorts...

I think girl's clothing shouldn't be more important than education. Instead of changing a girl's style, teach the boys.
