Never forgive the act. I reject the return of the perpetrator to Japan, hope he receives the maximum punishment.

As a fellow Japanese citizen, I feel truly outraged. Under Japanese law, this man will likely only receive a light sentence. This is because, legally speaking, animals are still treated as objects in Japan and can only be charged with property damage. Therefore, I ask that he be tried under local law. Even if he is forcibly repatriated to Japan, he will only be punished for a minor offense and will likely repeat the same actions in Japan. I do not want to see any more cats killed by this man. Please ensure that this man receives the appropriate punishment.

日本であればこの罪は“器物破損”という軽い罪で処理される。それは正しいとは思えない。 そして想像力もなく命を粗末に扱うこの男が罪を悔いるとも思えない。 せめて重い罰を望む。

While death penalty is what this monster deserves (slow & painful)....the least would be life in prison with no parole
