As a cat lover living in Japan, I find this extremely unforgivable. I am signing this petition of the Maltese animal protection society because this guy will not be charged with any serious crime if he is extradited back to Japan.
I am Japanese, the same nationality as the suspect. As a fellow Japanese, I am deeply saddened and heartbroken. Like the people of Malta, I love cats and wish for all of them to live happy lives. This kind of cruel and inhumane act must never be tolerated. I strongly demand the maximum penalty.
May peace return to the people of Malta and to all the cats as soon as possible.
