We do not need more new apartments buildings on the old Fort Harrison Property. We need the Reuse Board to be accountable for their actions as what was suppose to be town center is now apartments. There is no oversight to maintain the look of the historic fort.

More apts. and housing bring rif-raf Lawrence needs to preserve some of it's green space and limit housing. I always thought Lawrence was family oriented not money motivated that's why I moved here 45 years ago..

If the Reuse authority does not stop this downward trend in the use of what could be the most desirable destination spot in Indiana, it will destroy the potential of the former military base. What has happened to the concept of a Village Center that would have shopping and retail potential that would be an attraction and not a deterrent to the area. Also I hope the Lawton Loop neighbors will investigate the legality of the new council's selection to this board. An individual can not hold two lucrative appointed positions!

I wish to see condos built and not apartments as then the owners take pride in their community and limit transit renters who have no desire to participate in community endeavors and projects.

I believe adding 100 apartments is not an appropriate use for the Loop. We bought into a neighborhood that was owner driven not renter driven. I think we need quality rooftops not just rooftops.

The intregrty of the Fort needs to be upheld and that includes keeping the original plan of luxury condos so we have that "buy in" so not to compromise the area with just roof tops...
Take a look at the Weekly home neighborhood project that the reuse pushed forward without any accountability to the developer regarding the exteriors of those homes. They don't fit the historic footprint of Fort Ben at all. Reuse should be held accountable for this!

Respecting the history of the Loop should always be of utmost concern. Seems the Reuse Authority is ignoring the historic footprint each building was given and opening this interpretation up to potential development. Let's not compromise what we initally set out to do and protect this amazing aesthetic at The Fort.
