Matt is a great asset to the club, the face of Kooyonga to guests and members alike, his warm friendly nature welcomes people as they arrive and certainly gets their day off on the right "foot".

Matt is a must keep - his connection to the younger and future generation of the club is fundamental to the club's ongoing success moving forward.

I am the golfer that I am today, because of Matt. Despite this, he must stay.

I believe Matt to be a great asset to Kooyonga. Good teacher, personable, professional, a good bloke.

The fact that people have gone to the trouble of starting this petition, sign this petition and comment in this petition speaks volumes. Put simply, Matt's presence makes Kooyonga a better place to be.

Losing Matt would be a big mistake, He is well liked amongst the membership and is professional in every aspect.

A well respected and much liked professional. I certainly support his retention for Kooyonga pro shop.

Absolute professional and a great bloke. Would be a massive loss to the club if not retained.

the club would be losing massively I they were to let him go. He is the best person at the club and the reason some people get out and play golf. Letting him go would be a huge mistake

I've known deans since I was 10 years old with my grandfather and father both being members of kooyonga and getting introduced to golf early. A golf club is quite an intimidating place to come in to as a youngster, but thanks to deansy this transition was much smoother. He is first and foremost, a great bloke and makes every person that walks into Kooyonga feel welcome and more importantly, appreciated. I really hope that the club decides to not only keep Matt, but promote him to head Professional position. Know one is more deserving or worthy of taking over this position from Mike.

Matt was undoubtedly a factor in my decision to join the club as of this week, and I hope his ongoing role at KGC is reflective of the rapport he has built with the members and guests.

I'm a junior member and have been hitting balls at the range and matty has helped me with my swing and giving me tips without me asking. He helped me improve my game. I would really like matty to stay.

Have come to know Matty well over the past years. Matty will be sorely missed if he leaves. With 2 kids in junior programs, I find him to be a fantastic teacher and my kids respond to him well. Keep Matty!

To not retain Matty would be a massive loss to the KGC

Matt helped me shave a few strokes off my game and it would be disappointing to see him not part of Kooyonga going forward. I would doubt Kooyonga would be able to find a better suited employee.
