I have had the privilege of meeting many of the WS members from MA and all over. None of them have proven to me that they are anything more than outstanding men and members of their communities. The WS as a whole does great work to spread the benevolence of Freemasonry, and I think it is a shame that they are not allowed to do so in MA. This edict was from 2013. Has the Mass WS Grand Chapter requested an audience with the GL of MA? To request permission to have charters? It's been three years already. Hopefully time has healed the wounds.

Grand Lodge of mass is wrong. Im an Eagle scout, A mason, A shriner , and a Widows son. In al my years of chearty work I personally have never seen such devotion and brotherly love as I have from the widows sons. our chapter. in mass arrived in ky for thr aid and releif of this brother. after being mugged beaten and put icu. Mass. widows sons elected the chapter SEVENHILLS to drive all the way down to for support and also provided a donation in the name of Massachusetts Widows sons. I will never forget this group and i will always support them no matter what. they hold true mason with in this group and GL of mass needs to stop being about politics and more about what we are true brotherhood. in my oppinon The GL. of Massachusetts actions in this matter should be found non masonic. thank about it an edict how do you do a edict when we are better then that.

The Massachusetts chapters of the Widows Sons M.R.A. have contributed to charitable causes in PA, most notably the Children's Home @ Elizabethtown - a Masonic home for children without one, and others - in a big way. We support them as they have supported us to a level higher than most.

As a Widow's Son I have found a lot of joy in raising money and doing good works in the community! We have helped a lot of people with the help of brothers. I cannot see a reason to outlaw Widow's sons in any way. I have found a great brotherhood in Masonry and the Widow's Sons!

I was so Impressed at the Toys for Tots ride. It was organized and very well planned out. So so many toys going to children. Incredible! Was told once, "Never bite the hand that feeds you". Someone is biting! We need people like this in our society to help the less fortunate! God Bless the Widows Sons in Massachusetts!

Of all the organization's to exist in free masonry this is the one I see doing the most good for society over all. With frequent and continues fundraising. I implore you to remember that there are three sides to every story. It is fact you have based your judgment on only one. You truly must reconsider for the good of all.

Seriously? The Widow Sons Riders do MORE for Freemasonry than those silly Ben Franklin commercials aired every year. Why don't you support them instead of Ben and let him rest awhile!
