These are not unreasonable requests. Please restore these characters to how they were originally intended. It was wrong to pander to bigoted media back then and it would go a long way to fixing your relationship with the fans if you’d do this now.

This franchise has been important to me for years, and I've been a BioWare fan even longer - Jade Empire and the M!Spirit Monk/Sky relationship was fundamental in helping me come to terms with my sexuality. That Mass Effect has such a problem with its portrayal of gay men, to the point that I honestly sometimes start to feel like these games HATE gay men... It hurts. With the changes already going in to the Legendary Edition, there's no reason NOT to allow even just Kaidan be a romance for Male Shepard across the trilogy.

Same sex representation deserves to be prevalent within the mass effect universe not as an afterthought but legitimately as they were intended from the beginning before EA tucked tail because of Fox News

I'm not experienced with technical stuff and I can't tell you where exactly the audio clips are located in the game files, sorry. But I do know that there's enough there that someone was able to make a mod to restore both of those romances solely using the dialogue that was already in ME2's files.
