Mary Moss is a Princeton institution, especially to people in the Witherspoon Jackson Historic District. The Mary Moss Playground (MMP) located at the corner of John and Lytle Streets in Princeton is being redesigned and will become a state of the art "Water Park Playground".

Much of the playgrounds design and concept has already been decided, however the history of Mary Moss and the park, along with the history of the neighborhood, its people, their culture, contributions and how they will be depicted, displayed, and represented in the newly designed playground continues to be a "work in progress"

We, the undersigned are from or live in the neighborhood, or reside in the greater Princeton area and have a genuine interest in the rich history and cultural diversity represented by this historic landmark. We appeal to the Recreation Department and municipal leadership to insure that our voices, interests, and ideas be heard to insure that the new design incorporate aspects of Mary Moss' likeness/image, biography, and that the fullness of the neighborhoods history is reflected in what is considered a centerpiece of the towns 20th historic district.
