Hi Parents -

As you may have heard, our teachers were promised a long overdue $2,000 raise this year but the county cut it to $1,000. Our teachers are already some of the lowest paid educators in the entire country as North Carolina now ranks 48th for teacher pay - with the average teacher salary in our district at $49,913 per year. Let’s show our wonderful teachers that we care and want them to get the extra pay they earned. Please sign our petition and pass it on.
