Vincent D'Onofrio already plays the role of Kingpin on the MCU in the Netflix series Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and the Defenders in general and that being the case combined with the fact that Kingpin has always been a Spiderman villain as well so it's only logical that Marvel should cast him to reprise the role in the Spidey films.
