Martin Luther King day is a Nation Wide Holiday. Most work places are closed, and most school systems are closed. But not all, even thought they should be. Some schools say they don't have enough African American students to celebrate this holiday for a day off. This arguement is extremely invalid. Martin Luther King day is not about African Americans; it is about the equality of every American citizen no matter what race, culture etc. It is about celebrating the day that one man stood up for, not just his race of people but, every race of people.
