The county must be diligent in their efforts to get this project done as cost efficient as possible. Multiple bids from competent contractors and proven to complete jobs on time. I believe that would be a performance bond required contract, correct?

The current proposal is a bad deal for NRS. The price is exorbitant and the interest rate is ridiculously high. Surely a better deal can be negotiated for the residents.

We are looking for multiple bids and an in-state contractor without corruption and more discussion about the ridiculous absorbent interest rates on residence that cannot afford to pay up front

We need to reopen the bidding on this project. One bid is unacceptable. I’m not sure how a job of this size only receives one bid when there are plenty of local respected contractors equipped to handle such a job. I will do whatever is within my means to inform as many of them as possible to ensure we have options.

Need to allow for fair bidding.
