In her Production Workshop II class this semester, our class has seen our scripts and ideas dissected, dismantled, thoroughly analyzed, and most importantly, provided an interesting insightful perspective in Martha's class. She listens to us, she gives us ideas to approach the film differently, and at the end of the day, she supports us endlessly by giving us insight into casting and broader location possibilities. She teaches ways of addressing the complex challenges of directing larger movies, with larger crews and casts in creative and practical ways in order to realize our vision.

Chapman is a great film school with the unique ability to allow its students to make many films during our time here. The way it's managed to do that is through excellent focus on production and collaboration, making sure that we operate as close to the realities of the working industry as possible. We are trained to work with weapons wranglers, stunt coordinators, SAG actors and work with union rules and deal with the legal and business realities of the real world.
