The volume of support has now reached a point where we are formalizing our request for a meeting with the Mayor. We are finalizing the language of our official proposal to ensure it is ready for presentation by the end of the week.

My best friend has been with her partner for 12 years and they deserve the same legal protections as everyone else. why is this still even an issue in 2014

Its about time rhode island catches up with the rest of the world. love is love and everyone deserves the right to marry the person they love. lets get this done already.
