Mazda has confirmed that James Jordan is no longer with the company following the pressure applied by this petition. We have achieved the objective of our campaign and will monitor future corporate communications to ensure these standards of conduct remain enforced.
When Mazda executive James Jordan compared same-sex marriage with polygamy he did so to distort the issue and misrepresent the nature of Gay marriage. This bigoted, hateful and inaccurate. Mazda is supposed to be a gay friendly company. James Jordan should be fired for his remarks.
I am currently finalizing a formal letter to Mazda corporate headquarters to demand a public explanation of how these comments align with their stated values. My next step involves coordinating with external labor advocates to ensure this demand reaches the executive board directly.

Completely unacceptable. Companies need to hold their execs to a higher standard than this. Goodbye Mazda.
