After coming an unfair 3rd place in the 2008 series of Australian Idol, everybody just about knew that he deserved a recording contract. Despite the best efforts, Sony BMG turned him down. This may or may not have anything to do with his court case or the mere fact that Lara Bingle doesn't even know who he is. If you even paid a fraction of attention to this year's Idol it was clear that Mark Spano deserved the title. Without it, he is still talented and one of the best voices to come out of the competition in 6 years.
