It is great to shop there when I'm in Amsterdam. Will miss it if it closes.

If M&S Amsterdam closes then there will be nowhere for ex-pats to buy their favourite foods as the smaller shops closed after M&S re-opened. M&S have a duty to keep that store (and Den Haag for that matter) open!

M&S is our closest supermarket and we go there everyday, sometimes twice per day. Our little 3 years old can shop there without us telling her where is what we need. Please don't close it!

If you keep focusing on your older clientele then eventually your company is dead. Look at your competition. Where does generation Y buy their clothes. There is room for quality clothing but it has to be fashionable. There is nothing wrong with your food and I think your sale figures will show that so for that reason the food halls should definitely stay open in Holland.

WHEN THE GOING GETS A LITTLE TOUGH THEN MARKS AND SPENCERS PULL OUT OF HOLLAND FOR A SECOND TIME WITHOUT ANY THOUGHT TO THE LOYAL CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE SUPPORTED YOU OVER THE LAST TWENTY SOMETHING YEARS. COME ON THE BIG UK BOSSES THINK OF YOUR CUSTOMERS AND DON’T ABANDON US AGAIN . YOUR FOOD IS EXCELLENT AND YOUR STAFF ARE THE MOST FRIENDLY IN HOLLAND. PLEASE PLEASE STAY

We love the food & the clothing, they left us once before, we were very sad then. When they came back we were over joyed, but then 18 months after investing not a small amount in a wonderful new store in The Hague they want to go again, we are very disappointed and sad, please don't go!!

M&S are making a big tactical mistake in withdrawing from The Hague. With better local market knowledge and more appropriate advertising there would be no need to leave as there is a good, (comparatively) well off client base which is very loyal. The Hague is the seat of government, meaning that the international population is close by and very open to M&S products. Concentrate on food and good quality, classic styling for clothes for both genders and forget the cheap 'fashion' disasters. If you had included furniture in the selection it would have been a success here. Please stay open.
