I am running for Student Bar Association President for the Dual JD Program.

The past 6 months have been hard due to the COVID 19 pandemic, I understand. As a former Legislative Staff member I worked with constituents to help them through this crisis and know the challenges of what it takes to be a leader during this time. This includes helping secure money to rebuild schools and hospitals, secure unemployment payments, protect the private voting rights of sexual assault victims and protecting bankruptcy law for all people in Michigan.

I believe in standing up for all people, no matter who they are, whether we agree or not, and I will go to work on day one.

I will work to build a learning environment that will foster better outcomes for students, working with faculty members and students to create the best environment that we can in the Dual JD Program. This includes building events that allow us to socialize the best we can in this current climate.

I am running as an American, and I have reached out to my Canadian counterparts to build a coalition to have an office that shows both the Canadian and American connection that the Dual JD Program is so awesome at doing.
