I believe i will be a great student senator because I am skilled in leadership and creative. I will be the voice of our class with concerns and create new ways to make our environment at IWU even better than it already is. I have already been a leader in many groups in high school such at the Freshman Mentor Program for two years, President of Educators Rising for two years, captain of the track team for 2 years, and more. I hope to help create more resources that support diversity and inclusion in IWU as well as help with other issues that may be going on under the surface of our students whether its physical problems on campus or even mental health issues.

Marissa is super driven and would actually listen to us. Shes always got stuff done in high school so I know she will handle this fine.
