Had enough of very large unsuitable lorries using the road in front of my house causing vibration and nuisance - despite the fact that they are supposed to use Jacobs Gutter Lane!!!!

The slow industrialisation of Marchwood is greatly affecting our community and quality of lives. We already put up with a lot, with the increase in traffic to and from Marchwood, Mainly HGV's who appear from nowhere and on your tail. I would never be a cyclist as I value my life. HGV's park on the entrance to our estate to take their breaks and sleep over at night, rubbish is left behind, not just rubbish! Only the other day I witnessed lorries parked up overnight actually in the village by the entrance to the Junior school. The road is left in disrepair after heavy use, the filth and dirt brought into our village is unacceptable, the road signs and hedges evidence this. Your pride in keeping your car clean is quickly wiped out in a day or so later. Why would anyone in their right mind want any more traffic, pollution, noise and smell not to mention another horrible ugly sight that will be effectively another industrial site literally on our doorstep. We need to preserve what little green land we do have in Marchwood. Ironic the name... with the word wood in it!! Never been surrounded by so much metal!!!

This cannot go ahead, there are two major issues, the potential smell, we already have a lrge promlem with the sewage works, we don't need another. The main issue would be the increased traffic along Jacob's Gutter Lane, given that it i an unimproved lane, which is already too busy, dangerous to cyclists and need regulr maintenance due to the size of lorry using it to get to the incinerator, industrial site etc. There must be a large volume of lorries needed per day to feed this operation.
