Marching Band Should account for physical educational credit

Today, There will be a school board meeting in which the issue will be discussed and hopefully be resolved. The meeting will be held at the district office in Santa Ana and will commence at about 6:00pm. I am extending the invite to everyone has been of great support on this ongoing conflict. For those who would like to attend please wear RED in support of the SANTA ANA MARCHING SAINTS. Thank you!

Omg this is so not fair! Students shouldn't have to take pe classes just because the school changed their policy recently. These students were informed that Marching Band would count as 2 years of p.e. This is ridiculous! -.-

i think it should count as physical education since they do make you excersize and warm up and do all sorts of stuff you would do in a normal physical class

Marching band is a rigorous activity from rehearsals on the football fields, performances at the Eddie Westfield stadium, and competitions in distant venues. Sacrificing homework time on week nights for rehearsals, and very often weekends for competitions, and countless hours of music practice several students do not have the time to take another P.E. class. Marching band definitely meets requirements for being a physical education class and also instills more values in students over any regular P.E. class.

I too have recollection of marching band being counted as physical education credit.
