The Maplewood Recreation Department has proposed the idea of a new skateboard park to be built in Maplecrest Park. The idea was presented to the Open Space Trust Fund Committee and was well received, but they’ve asked for more information as to how a new skatepark would be beneficial to the town. The Committee is interested, but we need your help. If we can show there are enough people with interest in a new facility, the Committee is more likely to recommend the project to the Township Committee.
