As residents of Douglas County, we are concerned about the rapid commercialization of our area.We do not want uncontollabe commercial development along the Chapel Hill Road Corridor. We, as the taxpayers, want our city and county officials to respect our opinions when deciding on these issues. We do not support development across from our schools, Publix across from our churches, or the commercialization of our community. We want our residential areas to stay residential. WE ARE AGAINST COMMERCIALIZING THE CHAPEL HILL ROAD CORRIDOR.
The momentum behind this petition highlights a collective desire to preserve the residential character of our community. It is clear that many neighbors share these concerns regarding the commercial trajectory of the Chapel Hill Road Corridor.

Enough with all the warehouses and strip malls. We moved here for the quiet not to be stuck in traffic every single day.

Keep our schools safe! We do not need crazy commercial traffic right next to where our kids are learning. Leave the road alone.
