Maria Chin should not be put in the same category as terrorists or violent politicians and criminals. Please release her immediately and never ever detain anyone without an opportunity for them to defend themselves. We are not living in a feudal society.

If Maria China Abdullah is tortured, torture has been made illegal by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948.
The UDHR is applicable law in Malaysia since the UDHR has been adopted by more than half the countries of the world and have ipso facto become become the norm for the world and thus it is applicable law in Malaysia under the principle of jus cogens.
