Society is becoming too dependent on welfare and there are major concerns those getting cash assistance are abusing it for drugs and alcohol. It will affect taxpayers because their money is funding the welfare as well as low income individuals who can't refrain from drug abuse. Therefore, mandatory drug testing to go on welfare should be made a federal law to be used in every state.

The momentum behind this push proves that taxpayers are ready to demand accountability for how public funds are spent. Post this link on your Facebook page today to keep the pressure on our federal legislators. Send an email to your local representative right now and tell them it is time to make drug testing a federal requirement.

Welfare is a privilege that helps those in need and shouldn't be taken advantage of.

If I have to pass a drug test for my job just to survive then everyone else should have to do it too. Tired of people taking advantage of the system.
