If they opened @ 7 then my oldest son could drop his brother off at CSES then continue on to high school and not be late.

Hopefully this goes for Both of the Westwood schools also. the Jr high has No esp program and I know first hand how hard to leave your child in the weather because you have to get to work and waiting til the last possible min to let your child out hoping the doors would be open.

I don't understand what the problem is with them opening at 7:00...most of the other schools open at that time. ..this is crazy...our children and grandchildren are our greatest gifts...Don't you think that if it was Christmas gifts that they wouldn't protect them...heck yeah...they would stand guard over them....my gosh...what is wrong with the school systems are crazy....why is it that some people are so blind about stuff that after something happens then they decide to wake up...keep your eyes open now...this is little children that needs to be protected. ...this is what is wrong with most of the school systems. ...

I totally agree my daughter has been in track club which starts at 7:30 we would get there a little bit earlier sometimes and kids were waiting with no supervision in the cold outside... ....I couldnt make myself leave until they were letting them in. In this day and age you can never be to careful we have to solve a problem before it creates a problem and at that time we decide to change it...

Definitely let the kids in, it's way to cold out. Also they could let them go over to especially if had to

I don't have children but I agree 100% people should be able to feel secure about dropping their child off at school buthis and many more things that happens in. schools today people can't that's why there is more and more parents doing home schooling these days

I think if there are kids left outside unattended. Then they do need someone there by am so they can go inside for there protection and there safety.Too many children have been missing or hurt and we don't want this to happen.

Absolutely! I felt this way when my daughter attended this school. The kids have to rush in, eat quickly and hurry to class. They could rotate out faculty every week to watch the kids while they sit in the gym in the mornings.

I personally had no children that went to that school. Thank Goodness!!! I do however know a young man that went to that school and it worried me to no end when his mother had to drop him off early due to being a single mother whom had to get to work to provide for her child!!!

I think that the kids should always be supervised because they are young kids and there are some crazy people in this world

I couldn't agree more!!!! The ones that eat breakfast at the school, are only allowed such a limited amount of time once the doors are even opened! Think about it, if I drop my boys off right at 7:30 they have to walk all the way through the school to the back left corner, there's a minute or two, then stand in line to get their food and pay, that's another 5-10 minutes depending on how many other children there are to eat breakfast, then the remainder of the time is spent scarfing down their breakfast and trying to hurry back through the school to make it to class before 8 or they are counted as tardy!!!! Dillon has a tardy because of this which counts against him even though he was at school the entire time, EARLY!
