Management of Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute Indiana

I have family burried there. Its sad that this happened. I can understand cleaning dead flowers but why remove anything else?

Please fix this and let the families have peace, knowing their loved one are being taken care of properly.

Have many loved ones resting in there and I am aware of problem with my in-laws site being damaged and items missing off their site

Need new manager for this cemetery! Too many years this cemetery not taking care of ! Aweful when u see trees logs sitting on graves for months! Trash cans never empty! But then the manager wants to hire someone clean up then take everything off grave hooks & all no respect !!

My sins grave is there they rip the stuff right off his grave please stop this practice

I believe the committee and the people that did the "cleaning" should do a public apology. And help with returning the momentos to the rightful owners.

Need group decision not a one man team

Please make some changes at this cemetery. It's hard enough to lose a loved one causing all this unessary stress to the families that just need to grieve their loved ones is so uncalled for.

I have alot if family members there. Mother, father,sister,great grandparents, grandparents,aunts,uncle's, cousins. Thanks was totally unexceptable! It's bad enough we have to deal with people stealing things we put on the graves.to deal with this from people that is paid to care for upkeep is just not right. Everything we place on the plot has a special meaning to us and the loved one. It should not be dictated to us what we can put on there.

If this is a public cemetery the local government needs to step in and fix this issue. Families should not have to go through this kind of stuff!

In the grieving of the sudden deaths of our grandchildren and daughter in law, we went ahead and bought plots at Bethesda. Six weeks later our son was also buried there. My parents, sisters, brother and other loved ones are also at Bethesda. We've constantly been disappointed in he upkeep of this cemetery. Our plots are already bought, and we will be buried next to our son and family. What a shame that a cemetery can't be taken care of! It's heartbreaking to visit at times and see the long grass, items mysteriously missing, and the trash over in a pile in the corner of a cemetery. There is absolutely no excuse for this and now this latest destruction is incorrigible. Something must be done now!

We go out there and cut around and pick things up off of the grave and we put new things out there. People spend their own money to be able to put decrotions out there. I don't see how putting things on the Graves affect people it's for our love ones. The people with the ones that have the love ones out there would appreciate it if we could put things out there on their Graves without it getting thrown away or auctioned and as long as we take care of our love ones grave nothing should be taken off of it. If the grave wasn't cut then go around it or move it and put it back. It's not that hard. That would should more respect then throwing it in trash, breaking it, or auctioning it.

Very saddened on what happened. I decorate my Daughters grave every holiday and keep the grass cut all year.
