A child needs a figure of a mother and a figure of a father. If the argument comes up that even before a single parent could have adopted, well this criteria needs to be re examined again.

I Strongly Petition against the Same sex Civil Unions ( Marriage) & Children adopted by Gay Couples as a citizen of Malta. I do not agree that such laws would enter in Malta. It goes against what God wants! This should not be taken lightly forgranted, as for the sake of the children that would end up in such environment. It is not fair and respectful for the adoptive children at all! Myself I was adopted as well,I know what those children go through. It is easily said then experienced. But I know the difficult facts one should face in life. Thank God I was brought up by a Mum (female biologically) and a Dad(man biologically). Every child deserves to be raised up by a mum and a dad, as God indented. Now I appreciate the gesture of my parents that adopted me, as I won't be this woman I am today, in this society. Lets see all the possibilities and what is at stake, for these lives and all Malta. Its not a matter of right(selfishness) or power but love and respect for people and fear of God!!
