(1) We unanimously the under signed agree that the adoption of Children should be reserved only for married couples of the opposite sex: Ideally children should be given the right to grow in a healthy environment where both a real (female) mother and a real (male) father exist! This is not only the design of the Creator God, but is is the best design for a child to grow psychologically and emotionally healthy, given the necessary support for growth from a father figure and a mother figure equally! While we are aware that there may be some exceptions that impede children from growing with both a male and female parent (such as single parents families & children in residential care), yet, these exceptions should never make the rule – the law! So it follows that if one were to decide where Children should be cared for in their best interest they should be placed in a family where there are both a good male and female role model. (2) That in line with the above regarding adoption of Children by persons who are in a Civil Union and are of the same sex, no IVF intervention is administered on such persons. (3) That we the undersigned are against the principle promoted in the Bill that equates such Civil Unions between gay persons with those of married persons, with all the rights and obligations. Such Civil Unions should not have the same rights and obligations as those of married persons. [Marriage is a God ordained natural and human institution that society should continue to promote sine qua non because it is the only natural and human institution that guarantee the survival of humankind, from every aspect, being the continuation of offsprings, life-long education, the experience of love and affection, all kinds of support whether is physical, mental and psychological.
