We recently lost Mark Haywood, a young bright spark who loved life and touched everybody he knew, so lets do something for him. As his girlfriend i know that this is what he would of wanted, all of us pulling together to make a change. He was killed crossing William Nadin Way. This was an accident.This is a fast road which has public footpaths on both sides linking Newhall to Swadlincote/Church Gresley.Young and old people use the footpaths.We need a safe place to cross. A pedestrian crossing, signs indicating people crossing,improve street lighting,reduction of speed. Please can their be a positive change from such a tragic loss.
