2018 definitely didn’t start as we had planned. On the 4th January a car crashed into our family home whilst my family were inside - in the same room the car crashed into. There was a lot of structural damage including a gas leak. The upheaval and stress this has caused our family has been horrendous. 3 young children made to leave their home their ‘safe place’ having to leave our family pets and area. Made to live in a guesthouse for 5 weeks in one bedroom, then moved to an apartment. Our lives have literally been turned upside down. We are still out of our home and won’t be in for some time. We desperately need signatures to prove to the DOE / DRB that safety measures need to be taken to prevent this kind of accident happening again or even worse someone being killed. We need a ramp , posts , signposts like others areas have.
