As residents of Miromar Lakes, we are aware of a growing problem within the community of speeding and failure to observe stop signs. We believe a system should be put in place that will monitor speed and stop signs; thereby reducing the potential for accidents and serious injury.
A video monitoring system was recommended to the HOA voting representatives and tentaively approved by Miromar management. However it was tabled due to the vocal objections of a few individuals.
We believe such a system would a good first step towards addressing the problem of excessive speed and failure to observe stop signs.
On any given day, many of us have seen speeding and stop sign violations and believe that proactive action is absolutely necessary.

Good idea to be proactive as we have an increasing number of residents and guests many who seem unaware of designated speeds and stop signs
I hope this will have some impact. It's ridiculous that these people think the law doesn't apply to them.

I've observed speeding, no stopping at stop signs, and literally 5% of the people actually use their turn signals.
