I made this petition to help make gender studies required in education. I recently have taken a women studies course called women's voices and it has helped me become aware of the major issues women still face in today's world but these issues don't just effect women they effect everyone. If classes like gender studies which talks about these issues were required more people would become aware of these issues and perhaps more action might be taken and society might begin to change for the better. I believe that the first step in creating changes is helping people become aware of the issues.
