BYOND is a small community of developers who make free to play games. Over the past few years it has entered a slump , a financial crisis that is causing it to hobble along.

The purpose of this petition is to show support for saving BYOND community by offering a common sense solution that addresses the issue of building revenue to keep the community thriving.

By integrating the system as follows , both developers and the creators of the community can begin generating enough income to grow the community successfully.

• Reinstate the "BYOND dimes" or a system of credits into the website. Associate that with the player's keys.
• Reinstate fan-games to the website. This is the largest player base of the community and alienating it was a huge mistake.
• Allow players to use credits in the games they enter. This circumvents issues with fan games using illegal means to make purchases, as they directly purchase credits for use in games from the website.
• Allow devs to cash out the credits spent in their game on a weekly basis at a discounted rate. (For example 50% of the credits is exchanged into real money payouts). In this way BYOND further retains profits.
• Everyone wins. Players pay the games they desire and love, developers get paid for developing their games which in turn helps them make better games, and the owners of the website can end their financial troubles.

It's simple, if you'd like to see this system implemented, your voice is needed to help the owners know about support.
