Do not destroy our Thames riverside with over development.

Well, if this is an okay plan, one must then seriously question the notion that the 'congestion charge' has anything to do with cutting 'emissions'. The housing over-development proposal clearly shares its same short term 'money grabbing' aims and rides roughshod over the day to day quality of the daily lives of others, whose losses are not only long-term but permanent.

These proposals would be a significant over-development of the site and are unviable without significant infrastructure improvements, especially in terms of roads infrastructure.

This would be a dreadful blot on the landscape - totally out of proportion and without the necessary infrastructure to sustain it.

Not a good scheme

This development would be the beginning of the end for this part of the Thames.

I urge the mayor to significantly reduce the number of flats proposed on this site. The local infrastructure cannot cope already and pollution is increasing from the constant traffic jams.

Mortlake brewery - Great that the plan includes homes, BUT it’s massive over-development. Reduce height, reduce number of units please!

Congested enough along The Upper Richmond Road and Mortlake Lower Richmond Road without this development.

Approval will be unbearable for residents living in close proximity to the proposed development and will affect many other residents of Richmond who use this area for shopping, business, medical appointments and many other purposes.

Traffic crossing the Thames via Chiswick bridge from the south has four main choices: 1. To cross the level crossing gate at Mortlake and pass the Brewery development. 2 Cross Clifford Avenue - already cracking and causing huge jams from Sheen and from Richmond (both meeting at Clifford Avenue). 3. Crossing the level crossing gate at Manor Road - itself the subject of a proposed massive development of the Home base site next to the level crossing gate. 4. Kew Bridge - subject to major roadworks and the creation of the new Brentford Football Ground overlooking the end of the bridge on the North side. Is anyone proposing polution monitors for the Upper Richmond Road West and the South Circular Upper Richmond Road?? Here residents are being poisoned by the polution from stationary queues of traffic including heavy goods vehicles. In addition the numerous proposed cycle lanes serve to further restrict the flow of traffic. The whole area will gridlock if the Mortlake Brewery site is developed.

Listen to the community. An overdevelopment of this sight will not only have an adverse impact on the architecture of the area but could damage people’s sense of well being - an important factor in achieving a well balanced society.

This man and his team are systematically ripping the heart out of so many communities by their lack of understanding. Maybe Mr K should get on his ‘bike’ and engage properly with the people who’s lives he compromises before signing away their future. There is a need for housing and so many places which would welcome and thrive from this type of regeneration. What I fail to understand is why intelligent people can not make intelligent decisions when the facts are presented to them so clearly by the people most affected.

The mayor of London is carrying out a vicious and sustained attack on this area . In addition whilst crying out about the spread of Covid 19 and the need for social distancing he is promoting the building of Covid ghettos . As the same time he is overriding the local council council and residents in a dictatorial style reminiscent of some of the worlds worst dictators . If allowed he will be responsible for some of the worst architectural atrocities ever known in the country whilst spreading misery and disease .

I really object to this development as it is completely against what we should be doing to provide affordable family homes

As proposed this Development is completely out of scale for the area and would increase the traffic congestion to unacceptable levels at peak times particularly leading up to Chalkers Corner/Chiswick Bridge. No decision to approve should be made until there is a firm decision to resolve the closure of Hammersmith Bridge in any event.

I do not want this development to go ahead as it will spoil the view from my home and lead to much unwelcome overcrowding in Mortlake.

We are set to ruin places like Mortlake and Kingston with hideous ugly building projects and overcrowding. Doubling of population by 2040 in this area- act now to prevent this lunacy. The London Development plan needs scrapping and in its place a total rethink and downscaling to leave a workable and sustainable legacy for future generations. Act Now!
