I just woke up to see the momentum shifting and honestly it feels like people are finally starting to realize just how much is at stake for these smaller teams. It really makes me think about those Portugal matches again and how we cannot let the suits in charge just bury the growth of the game because they want to protect their little bubble.

how are these countries supposed to get better if you never let them play on the big stage? ridiculous decision.
Total rubbish. They only care about money. Keep the minnows in the game!
Keep it at 20. Expanding the game is the only way forward. Stop being selfish.
Rugby needs to grow. Cutting teams is a huge step backward. Very short sighted by the IRB.
some of the best games in 07 were the underdog matches. do not take that away.

Leave it at 20 teams!! The smaller nations deserve a shot too, thats what makes the world cup special.
