Petition summary and background: - Not everyone is aware of Fairtrade in school and don’t know how they can help. - Our school makes no effort to be Fairtrade and we would benefit from it hugely. Action petitioned for: - We would like a Fairtrade school council which meets each term to discuss ways making our school more aware and running Fairtrade money raisers e.t.c. - We would like our school to use Fairtrade products in the staffroom and at coffee mornings and events/ceremonies. - Fairtrade lessons given to Year 7’s in PSVE.

Schools should be leading by example. Stop buying the cheap stuff and support farmers getting paid what they actually deserve.

its honestly so easy to switch the coffee and tea in the staff room. why is this not already happening? hope the school listens to you guys.
