All of the Superman video game adaptations to date have been sub par. Not one game has yet captured the essence of Superman. The latest, Superman Returns, was mediocre. Rocksteady Studios has done an excellent job with the Batman franchise, developing two excellent games in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. They have demonstrated that they have the ability to develop a very good superhero game. If they develop a Superman game with the same care that Arkham City had, it would be a critical and financial success. Warner Bros. should commission Rocksteady Studios to make a Superman game.
