The fans of this series deserve something much better than the poor quality of the dvds. I still find it odd as popular as this series is they re-issued it on dvd again the first time many of us known was done by Anchor Bay. Xena deserves more respect and they should remaster the series onto Blu-ray.

Oh yes! I would love too see this beloved series make it's way onto Blu-ray. I have a lot of Xena merchandise. This would make my day when and if they announce Xena: Warrior Princess on Blu-ray! Please Universal or whoever please remaster this master piece series on Blu-ray!

Oh come on now give me a break! With todays technology everything is being re mastered onto Blu-ray. Charmed season 1 is coming to Blu-ray. So there is no excuse why Xena can't get the Blu-ray treatment.

Don't understand why they re-released the dvds twice? I know that Universal wanted to bring Xena on dvd back on the market since the old Anchor Bay dvd sets are OOP (out of print.) But in my opinion they should have released Xena on Blu-ray instead, Xena was a mega hit on dvd and Xena would be a mega hit on Blu-ray.

I hope Shout! Factory will release Xena onto Blu-ray, Shout! Factory will put the time money and effort. I have my doubts that Universal will release the series onto Blu-ray, but I guess anything is possible. Let's hope Shout! Factory gets the rights to Xena!

Weren't they originally going to release Xena onto Blu-ray when Legendary Heroes was still in business? (if anyone remembers Legendary Heroes) but for some reason those plans for Blu-ray where scrapped and they re-released the dvds again by Universal, which didn't make any sense. Universal should have released the Blu-rays instead.

I am guessing if they do bring Xena onto Blu-ray I am betting that the single season sets would probably be about between maybe $55 or $60 and if they did a complete series Blu-ray boxed set of Xena my guess is it would probably be about $65 or $70. But who knows? This is just an example.

Universal you owe us a Blu-ray release of Xena after re-releasing the dvds again if fans recall the first time was done by Anchor Bay back in the early days when Anchor Bay owned the rights to the series.

I have held off of buying Xena on dvd for along time now because I know since everything is coming out on Blu-ray, and I believe that this series will come out on Blu-ray eventually.
