Oh yeah, I saw that too!!!!! Amazon.com does have a listing for Xena Blu-ray. All you got too do is go to Movies & TV type in Xena on Blu-ray and scroll down the page until you see the listing Xena: Warrior Princess 1995 TV series and the format is Blu-ray. I was like what? How can Amazon have a listing? There is no image available and no release date? And customers have already wrote in reviews. So I guess this means Xena will be coming to Blu-ray eventually.

I did some research on Amazon.com, if you do to movies & TV type in Xena Blu-ray, Amazon does have a listing for it and customers have already wrote reviews for it. I got all excited at first until I saw there was no image available or a release date. So does this mean we will end up seeing Xena on Blu-ray???

Xena on Blu-ray is long overdue. They need to show this series with more respect and stop re-releasing the same old dvds.

Xena on Blu-ray needs to happen. Is Universal Studios too cheap to remaster a classic series such as this on Blu-ray?

A Xena 25th anniversary Blu-ray would be a nice way to celebrate the series 25th anniversary since it has been on dvd for a long time. Xena on Blu-ray would be a day 1 purchase from me.

I would rather have Shout! Factory release the series onto Blu-ray, you can't always count on Universal Studios.

Would be great to own a complete series Blu-ray boxed set instead of buying the single season sets on Blu-ray. Guess we all will have to wait and see if such a thing comes along. Hopefully they will release the Blu-ray's of Xena next year since the series will be celebrating it's big 25th anniversary next year.

They need to put this series out on Blu-ray, it's such a classic series. I remember back in 2008 they were planning to release it on Blu-ray and they didn't!!!! It's now time for this series to be released on Blu-ray. So come on Universal Studios it's time. How many times are they going to reissue the same old dvds????

How many times is Universal going to keep reissuing the same old dvds? That would really insult Xena fans of this beloved series if they released the dvds a third time next year when the series celebrates the big 25. If they are going to celebrate Xena's big 25 next year they'd better take some advice from the fans and remaster the series on Blu-ray for the big 25 next year.

If they did remaster Xena on Blu-ray. I'm guessing they would do it like they did with Star Trek: the Next Generation which is awesome on Blu-ray. For Xena though they will have to rescan and restore the film negatives (hopefully no damage.) Second they would have to re-do the special effects because they were in standard definition for TV.
They won't even bother or make an effort for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine or Star Trek: Voyager which sucks because fans along with Xena would pay good money for a good Blu-ray transfer.
