The stories, acting, and dialogue are too legendary to let rot. I have many young people who are used to seeing high quality video and they would love Xena if the image quality was updated. Please maintain this spectacular cultural achievement.

I'm 73 and love Xena: Warrior Princess. I have the complete series on DVD but I really want it on Blu-ray. Please do whatever it takes to make this a reality for all of us Xena lovers.

Well, this will be long overdue for a Blu-ray release! I'd bet they won't release Xena on Blu-ray until maybe 2025 when the series celebrates it's 30th anniversary, or maybe even then. Since studios don't give shows like Xena, Hercules, Highlander the Series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Deep Space Nine the respect they all deserve on HD Blu-ray.

Well, let's see Anchor Bay Entertainment dropped the rights to Xena back in 2010, Universal Studios (who owns the rights isn't doing nothing at all.) Well.....I guess all we can do is wait to see if Shout! will come through since they do own a lot of Universal Studios movies/TV Shows. Of course I am being sarcastic here.

I thought when they first released Highlander: the series onto Blu-ray, that Highlander: the series on Blu-ray killed our chances of ever seeing Xena and Hercules on Blu-ray.
For one thing, Highlander: the series was re mastered in 7020p and not 1080p. but this was when Davis Merchandising was still in business back in 2008. Plus it did poorly in sales on Blu-ray and that's why Davis Merchandise wasn't about to release Xena or Hercules onto Blu-ray.

Xena on blu-ray? Yes please! I'd buy the blu-ray day one, but only if it's a proper remastering from the original source, and not upscaling. I also read the later seasons were filmed in widescreen. Xena and Hercules on blu-ray or even better in 4K would bo so amazing!!!
