Release Xena Warrior Princess on Blu-Ray

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

This may be long overdue for a Blu-ray release. I don't see Universal Studios remastering this show at all on Blu (even though they own the rights), but heck Shout! Factory could pick up the rights to the show since Shout! does own a lot of Universal Studio classics on Blu. Heck, they should at least maybe release "A Best of Xena Blu-ray box set." just to give it a test run and see how well it sells, and if it's a success then they could probably bring out the entire series on Blu-ray. I just hope when remastering for Blu-ray, 1. keep the show at it's original 4: 3 ratio, 2. brighten the show up in beautiful rich colors, 3. the first 2 seasons maybe low quality in picture but they can always find a way to remaster the first 2 seasons. 4. Make Xena's battle cry more louder than ever! 5. A beautiful 5.1 audio HD would be amazing!!! What I don't get is, that yeah they were planning to release Xena onto Blu-ray at one point, but those plans got dropped for some reason and nobody knows why. For me as a big Xena: Warrior Princess fan, I am looking forward into seeing this show onto Blu-ray in the future, because it does deserve a Blu-ray.

This show is a classic and should be on Blu-ray.

Xena: Warrior Princess is beloved by so many fans, Xena on Blu-ray needs to happen!

Xena: Warrior Princess deserves the attention to be remastered onto Blu-ray, also the series does deserve to be on Blu-ray just as any other TV Show/Movie. The studio or whoever needs to show this show more respect especially for the series 25th anniversary next year.

Don't see why this show would be so hard getting out on Blu-ray, Shout! Factory would do an amazing job remastering this show onto Blu-ray since Shout! already owns a lot of Universal Studios movies/TV shows. Let's all prey Shout! Factory will remaster Xena onto Blu-ray.

Please, please from a bottom of a Xena fans heart (Universal Studios) please don't remaster this show onto a Blu-ray/R disc (Burned on Blu-ray disc, MOD)

Well, as long as they remaster Xena on Blu-ray in it's original 4:3 ratio, we all know that Buffy fans suffered with the 16:9 ratio. Hopefully Universal will team up with Shout! Factory, because Shout! Factory will do an amazing job remastering this series.

They need to show Xena more respect and remaster the show in HD on TV and onto Blu-ray.

This show was filmed so beautifully and it deserves the best high quality Blu-ray transfer it could possibly have.

Yeah this show needs a Blu-ray! I would add this to my Blu-ray collection!

Universal Studios needs to team up with Shout! Factory and get this show released onto Blu-ray before Disney decides to buy Universal Studios!!!

I've been watching Xena on El-Rey network and I must say did they remaster the show on TV? Because I notice a big difference watching seasons 1 and 2 compared to my dvd sets. But anyways Xena is beloved by so many and it needs too be on Blu-ray!!!

Universal (or whoever owns the rights.) Please remaster Xena onto Blu-ray!! Thank you!!

Xena: Warrior Princess is one of the greatest action hero series ever created! It's too popular not too have a Blu-ray release.....IT NEEDS A BLU-RAY RELEASE!!!

With today's TV's either a 4k TV or a HD TV, Xena: Warrior Princess could use the Blu-ray upgrade!

I would buy this in a heart beat if Xena is ever released on Blu-ray!

I find it odd back in 2008 when Davis Merchandising (who first released Xena on VHS and then onto DVD.) They were planning at one point to release both the first seasons of Xena and Hercules onto Blu-ray, I know because I talked to an employee over the phone I asked them "Is there any chance that Xena and Hercules will come to Blu-ray?" and the employee said "Yes, we are planning to release the first seasons of both shows on Blu-ray." Kind of misleading on that because we never heard any more news about Xena: Warrior Princess being released onto Blu-ray ever since. I was looking forward for Davis Merchandising corp. to release Xena and Hercules onto Blu-ray. Oh well, perhaps we all can put our faith into maybe Shout! Factory?

They need too show this series with more respect and remaster the series onto Blu-ray.

I hope that Xena: Warrior Princess is not doomed forever to be in standard definition, everyone thought the same thing with Charmed and look what happened? They remastered Charmed on Blu-ray. So if they can remaster Charmed on Blu-ray then they can remaster Xena: Warrior Princess on Blu-ray as well.
