Has anyone checked out this website? www.Blu-ray.com?.....Well if you type in the search box Xena: Warrior Princess......there is information on Xena on Blu-ray but there is no image available or 'NO RELEASE DATE" yet. So I am guessing that Xena will eventually come to Blu-ray or why would the website have such information?

As much as I would love for Xena: Warrior Princess and Buffy the Vampire Slayer to get their royal Blu-ray treatment, I doubt such a thing could happen, but then again who am I too say?......with todays technology almost everything can be remastered onto Blu-ray now days. But I would be thrilled if these 2 shows do come to Blu-ray.

Anyone hope that Shout! Factory can pick up the rights to Xena and do a fantastic remaster on Blu-ray?......I don't see Universal remastering the show on Blu-ray, but I do see Shout! Factory, since Shout! Factory does own a lot of Universal Studios movies/tv shows. Shout! Factory if your listening or reading this, please add Xena: Warrior Princess on Blu-ray to your list! Even though Xena was edited on "video" there is still a way to remaster the series in HD! With today technology "Anything is Possible!"

Since every Xena fan may have their old VHS, DVD box sets from the early days. A Blu-ray transfer (remaster) of this classic series has too happen, even though Xena was edited on "video" they can still find a way to remaster. Think about it, a Blu-ray transfer would spark an interest in the Xena fan base community it would resurrect fans interests.

We Xenites are going strong even today, we Xenites demand that they do a Blu-ray remaster of this cult 90's classic!

I think in my opinion (it's just me) I think they should at least release Xena and Hercules first seasons onto Blu-ray don't upscale them in Standard definition cause fans would not go for that, and see how will they sell. If they are big sellers which they probably will be.... then they could release the rest of the series onto Blu-ray, but here is my big question, does Universal Studios even care about bringing Xena and Hercules to Blu? Or should we hope that a company like maybe Shout! Factory can pick up the rights and do a fantastic remaster?

So what if Xena was edited on "video." There are a lot of older shows from the 90's that are edited on "video" but yet they are being remastered on Blu-ray. Plus there are shows even from the 70's that are being put onto Blu-ray and most 70's shows were edited on "video." For example Charlie's Angels: the complete series is now on Blu-ray, and how many of us think that show would not be remastered onto Blu-ray? Then they will probably remaster the 70's classic Wonder Woman on Blu-ray. Next thing you know....they will remaster 60's classic such as Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie onto Blu-ray, and those show were also edited on "video." So I do believe that Xena will come to Blu-ray eventually, there's even information on Xena on Blu-ray. Just go to www.Blu-ray.com and in the search box type in Xena: Warrior Princess, but THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE, and the resolution is 1080p.

Shout! Factory could get the rights to Xena and Hercules and release them both on Blu-ray, Shout! Factory would do an amazing job remastering these shows in HD on Blu-ray, since Shout! Factory does own a lot of classic Universal Studios Shows/Movies, anyone agree for Shout! Factory?

Every Xena fan would love too have this happen! Xena on Blu-ray, but I wouldn't hold my breath, since Universal Studios doesn't give a crap and they re-released those crappy dvds that have no bonus features at all the show was filmed in standard definition but who knows? anything can be remastered in HD now days.

Everyone thought that Charmed was doomed forever in standard definition, and look what happened! Charmed is remastered on Blu-ray. So if Charmed can be remastered onto Blu-ray then Xena can get the Blu-ray HD treatment also.

I would never have thought that the classic Supergirl 1984 film would ever be remastered onto Blu-ray HD, that's a guilty pleasure for me, because Supergirl 1984 film was on VHS/DVD for a longtime. Even though Supergirl 1984 was edited on "video." but then again they were able to remaster it for Blu-ray. But if they can remaster the 1984 Supergirl film. Then by all means that Xena: Warrior Princess can be remastered onto Blu-ray, even with todays technology. Movies/TV shows, there were edited on "video" are now coming to the age of todays technology which is Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray. So for instance, since Xena was edited on "video" there's still a possibility it can come to Blu-ray and plus does anybody really knows how remastering works? plus with todays technology and older shows and movies are being remastered onto Blu-ray/4k Blu-ray.

Xena: Warrior Princess is such a 90's classic if all these older shows can get the Blu-ray treatment for the first time, then Xena can make it's way onto Blu-ray in the future.

hmmm.....This is odd I found information on Xena on Blu-ray.com but what sucks is that there is no release date yet. Just go to the website www.blu-ray.com and type in Xena in the search box you'll see there is information on Xena on Blu-ray but no release date.

I am hoping Wonder Woman the TV series comes to Blu-ray. If they can remaster Charlie's Angels the complete series on Blu-ray then they can bring remaster Wonder Woman, and also bring Xena to Blu-ray in the feature.

A lot of these older shows are getting the Blu-ray treatment like Charlie's Angels the complete series now on Blu-ray. Now if that show can get the Blu-ray treatment then Xena can be remastered onto Blu-ray also.

Lucy Lawless said that they couldn't release Xena on Blu Ray because of how it was made. I think she meant that the final episodes were finished on video. Like Star Trek TNG, Voyager and Deep Space 9. They wont release Voyager or DS9 on blu ray because there are no HD versions. And Xena TV series has the same problem.

Xena deserves the Blu-ray treatment.

I find it odd of how popular the fan base is of this show, they have not remastered this show as of yet on Blu-ray.

Well, as long as they don't screw with Xena's original ratio and leave it at 4:3 when remastering on Blu-ray then they can have my $$$$!!!!
