Release Xena Warrior Princess on Blu-Ray

Hopefully this will be the year Xena will finally come to Blu-ray for it's 25th anniversary! They can find the HD material!......Also they could just at least release season 1 of Xena on Blu-ray just to test the sales.

If Xena ever comes to Blu-ray, seasons 1 through 5 were the best years of Xena! season 6 wasn't all that great! (but that's just my opinion.) So if Xena is ever released on Blu I will only collect seasons 1 through 5!

Universal Studios and Shout! Factory should team up and remaster Xena on Blu-ray they can find the HD material!!!

Just to point out on youtbue, the episode Sins of The Past (the first episode of the series) looks like it's HD compared to dvd.

Xena is worth putting out on Blu-ray period!!!

On youtube they created a Xena: Warrior Princess channel, and I was just wondering hmmm the episodes looks like they've been remastered in HD? compared to dvd's. Especially, Sins of the Past episode the very first episode looks like HD material compared to dvd.

Fans spread the word, on this website www.blu-ray.com there is information on Xena on Blu-ray but "THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE' and the resolution is 1080p so I am thinking they will bring Xena out to Blu-ray eventually.

Yeah, forget Universal Studios remastering Xena and Hercules onto Blu-ray, the studio doesn't give these shows the respect they so deserve. Now Shout! Factory on the other hand could find the HD material and remaster both series onto Blu-ray.

Remaster! Now it's the time! I don't want to wait another 5 years when the series celebrates it's 30th anniversary in 2025! Anything can be remastered onto Blu-ray now days!

I was one of the few that was with Legendary Heroes and I had ordered the complete Xena box set (Anchor Bay.) I had asked someone there by any chance do they think Xena will ever come to Blu-ray? My response was; At some point they were going to release the show onto Blu-ray, kind of misleading. I was expecting Davis Merchandising Corp. to release Xena on Blu-ray. But, maybe Shout! Factory can remaster the series onto Blu-ray because I just don't see Universal Studios doing the remastering since Universal Studios doesn't give the show the respect it truly deserves.

I would love to have Xena: Warrior Princess remastered onto Blu-ray only if done right.

Highlander: the series on Blu-ray was a total disaster I still have the first season on Blu-ray. They had up scaled the picture of Standard definition of 720p (the only remaster material they had at that time) and the sound quality was 2.0 instead of 5.1 like the old dvd box sets. So yeah, if they really want to remaster Xena: Warrior Princess onto Blu-ray then they'd better find the HD material or it will turn out like trash like Highlander the series on Blu-ray. I am so glad that I kept my old Highlander: the series dvd box sets from Anchor bay back in those early days. But I do have faith that Xena will eventually be Blu! because on this website www.Blu-ray.com there is information on Xena on Blu-ray and the resolution is 1080p so maybe Xena will be remastered onto Blu-ray we can only hope.

I don't see why it would be such an impossibility to make the series on Blu-ray with todays technology anything can be remastered onto Blu-ray. Plus, I'm pretty sure they can find the HD material. I mean look at Supergirl (1984 film) Warner Archives did an amazing job bringing that movie to Blu-ray, they had too search for the HD material.

I was about to create a similar petition! Finally a Xena fan who cares enough to create a Blu-ray petition! Yeah, I totally agree Universal Studios doesn't show Xena the respect it deserves they re-issued those crappy dvds that have no bonus features what so ever! But I do a agree on one thing, Shout! Factory could find the HD material and remaster the series onto Blu-ray. Shout! Factory would do an amazing job! Hopefully Shout! Factory can pick up the rights and remaster this classic series 90's on Blu-ray.
