Change ICPC World Finals venue to make it happen faster!
Dear Members of the ICPC Committee,
On behalf of the concerned participants and supporters of the International Collegiate Programming Competition, we wish to formally petition the ICPC Committee to consider relocating and expediting the organization of the ICPC World Finals.
In light of the current global situation, we fully appreciate and support the committee's decision to prioritize the safety of participants and organizers by postponing the World Finals. However, given the uncertainty surrounding the duration of the ongoing conflict, it is increasingly evident that Sharm El-Sheikh may not be a viable and safe location for conducting this prestigious competition in the foreseeable future.
This situation places both the 2022 and 2023 ICPC World Finals participants in a challenging position. The 2022 participants, many of whom now have jobs and other responsibilities, find it difficult to maintain their algorithmic skills at their peak due to the prolonged delay. Similarly, the 2023 participants, who have often formed new teams, are compelled to prepare for the postponed finals while simultaneously practicing with their new teams for the 2024 regional contests.
Hence, we strongly urge the ICPC Committee to prioritize the relocation of the World Finals to a new location that not only guarantees the safety of all participants, whether the competition takes place in a month or a year, but also accelerates the scheduling of the event. This would allow participants, some of whom have waited for over a year, to finally participate in the competition while still maintaining their competitive programming prowess. This will enable them to transition seamlessly into the new responsibilities that their professional or competitive programming lives may demand.
We believe that by taking this action, the ICPC Committee will not only ensure the safety of all participants but also demonstrate their commitment to fostering a fair and competitive environment for all. We eagerly await your positive response and hope that you will consider our petition with utmost seriousness.

Just move it already. Nobody wants to wait another year for something that should have been done ages ago.
PLEASE JUST MAKE IT ONLINE. We are tired of the waiting game.
The location is a disaster. Pick somewhere else and get it over with.
I agree we should definitely judge other people by their religion because it's never okay for others to have different political beliefs than my own.
This delay is killing our motivation. We need a resolution fast or we just move on with our lives.

Team - MIT 2022. Cant keep practicing for something that keeps getting pushed back. Its impossible to balance with real jobs now.
