Having lived in the USA on the student visa for a year, then on visitor visas, being married to an American, giving up my visa as we separated (very honest), then living on a student visa in the USA again, I would very much like to move back to the USA. It's not easy. I speak fluent English (I'm from the UK), I have a Bachelor degree, a post-grad degree, and an Associates degree. I have no dependents. I would be an asset to society - paying tax. I was once asked by a senator of Iowa what would it take to keep me in Iowa. My answer was... A visa! I can't take part in the diversity lottery visa because I'm from... wait for it, the UK. It would take me an eternity to apply for an immigrant visa. I just want to move to the USA and work. Why can't it be easier for someone such as myself?

USA would only benefit if we had more people like Sally!

Totally agree with this, why is it so difficult to move to any country for work, when you'd be paying taxes and contributing to society?
