I am in full support of Ultimate Frisbee being recognized as an official sport. In terms of teaching players the spirit of the game and working out disagreements without the presence of a referee, this sport will have a positive impact on the athletic community for young people who are growing as both athletes and individuals. I think this sport should be available to athletes of all ages. High school students should be able to represent their school in competitions, playing a sport and growing in a community they care about.

I'm not even from fairfax but I do believe that Ultimate should be an official high school sport everywhere and we need to start growing the sport.

My son plays this with a volunteer coach. There is much commitment to this as a fun sport that does not require special equipment and is skewed towards young people who are large and physical. Please approve this sport for our schools.

Ultimate got me out of a depressed state in highschool and it helped me make friends with some really cool people. We had to play outside of the school grounds because the school wouldn't allow ultimate to be played, the ultimate club could only talk about playing, not actually play.
