Ultimate is a well loved sport by numerous people, and is not available to schools in the Harrison County School District. This sport also is great because you don't get tackled, and you wont get a concussion. There is no physical contact between players, so injuries will be less than a sport like football. If you believe that Ultimate Frisbee is worthy of becoming a school sport, sign this petition!
Reaching this point has been exhausting but seeing the support grow makes the effort worthwhile. It is a relief to know I am not fighting for this change alone.

I'm playing Ultimate at the NHHI Ultimate team at The Norwegian School of Economics. It's fun and really focused on fair play. It's a non-contact sport which means less injuries than e.g. football or soccer. It's a low cost sport, all you need is a few discs and some cones to mark the field to get started. You're missing out on something great!

I play ultimate at my school, and another school. At my school, nobody knows about ultimate, except for the players, not even the teachers know about it. Then for the other school, I'm playing for the only high school girls team in my state, because no one knows about ultimate and there are not a lot of girls who play, because its not known. So I do support this because of my school.

Ultimate Frisbee teaches kids responsibility and conflict resolution by forcing them to make their own rule calls instead of relying on a referee. It's athletic and competitive without sacrificing mutual respect between athletes.

Bringing ultimate to your school is a great idea. Five years ago I opened a club with a couple of students and now we're going to matches and practicing every other day. It gave our school life!

Ultimate is an incredibly cheap team sport to maintain and the community is one of a kind. I got my start in High school and chalk it up as one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Ultimate is an incredible sport that builds bonds, teaches sportsmanship (the "spirit of the game"), and is safer and more accesible than many other current club sports.

So great to see someone taking initiative to grow ultimate. Good luck in hitting 200.
