Vermont has the only mandated state health care exchange in the country. Vermonters are forced to use an exchange system that has not worked correctly since it was launch on October 1, 2013. Governor Shumlin and the Democratic Legislature is refusing to make VT Health Care Exchange voluntary by giving Vermonters the choice to purchase health insurance off the exchange. Please sign the petition and call your legislator 802-828-2228 and ask them to support legislation allowing Vermonters to purchase health insurance off the exchange system and through the insurance company of their choice. This will allow Vermonters and VT Small Businesses to purchase affordable good quality healthcare that meets their needs, the needs of their family and the needs of the employees they employ.
